Industrial License

Holders can perform light manufacturing activities such as blending, purifying, repacking, mixing, wrapping and assembling products using noiseless machinery or laborers.

Logistics License

Holders can perform logistics services such as storage, distribution, inventory management and transportation, order management, forwarding, sorting and clearing only within the UAE.

Trading License

This license allows import, export, distribution, storage or sale of permitted products in the UAE market.

Education License

This license allows educational and social services, training and consulting services

Service License

This license allows holders to carry out activities like training, insurance, consulting and catering.

Types Of Company Formation In Dubai South

Free Zone – Limited Liability Company

This type of company formation must have shareholders, directors, secretary and a general manager to set up the business. You must also have a minimum capital of AED 30,000 with a minimum share value of AED 1.

Branch Of Foreign Or Local (UAE) Company

A branch office in DLC cannot have a secretary or board of directors but they must have a general manager who is responsible for running the business. The branch name and activity must be the same as the parent company and the name should end with the designation “branch”.
